Shahid Kapoor will work with dad

Shahid Kapoor is flying high. He is sharing silver screen with girlfriend Kareena Kapoor in Imitaaz Ali’s next Jab We Met.
Shahid Kapoor is also working on Rajkumar Santoshi’s next and Sanjay Lela Bhansali’s forthcoming film being directed by his sister, Bela. The most important project for him is the film his dad Pankaj Kapur is planning to direct for him.
The script is being written and if all goes well the father son jodi will be working together. Pankaj is writing script for film keeping Shahid in mind.

Shahid was son of film and television actor Pankaj Kapur and actress Neelima Azeem. He is a kid of separated parents. He has been brought up by his mother in mumbai. He did his dancing training with Shiamak Davar school. He started his career with extra roles, and commercials, music videos. He also co-started with his stepbrother, Ishaan Kapoor in Vaah! Life Ho To Aisi. Shahid is stepson of Supriya Pathak.
Shahid’s was a debutant in film Ishq Vishk was a great success. He received the Filmfare Award for best debutant category in 2000. Along with this Shahid was also conferred the award in the Debut category from the Star Screen Awards and the Zee Cine Awards. 2004 saw him starring in two more films: Fida, a thriller co-starring Kareena Kapoor and Fardeen Khan as well as Dil Maange More, a romantic comedy alongside Soha Ali Khan, Tulip Joshi, and Ayesha Takia. These films created major hype and was bombed at the box office. However, Shahid was praised with positive reviews and critical acclaim for his performances. His latest films Vaah! Life Ho To Aisi and Shikhar was again a mojor flop at the box office. Yet again, his performances were praised and he received critical acclaim for his acting. He was nominated for Screen Best Actor for his work .
At present times Shahid is seeing Kareena Kapoor, and they are very loud about it. He claims that when two of them are in love so there is no point being diplomatic about it, by hiding it to world or society.Critics say that he tries to copy Sharukh khan, as because he resembles with him..Inspite of couple of sucessful film he can be categorised as a strugler in film industry,as he is still not able to stabilise himself as an actor yet. In professional frony his career graph is still fluctuating.
He will next be seen in 2006 in the films Milenge Milenge, Chup Chup Ke, and 36 China Town with Kareena Kapoor, Vivaah with Amrita Rao, and Fool and Final with Ayesha Takia. Fool and Final and Vivaah are still being filmed. Chup Chup Ke is in the post-production stage. 36 China Town has been completed. Shikhar has already been released. Shahid has, in the film, portrayed the rold of Jaidev Vardhan (Jai).
